On New Year's Eve, a shooting erupted at the famous Reina nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey, where 39 people were killed and 40 people were injured during a New Years party. An estimated 600 people were celebrating inside the nightclub in the early hours of the new year when a gunman began shooting and then fled the scene; Turkish police are still on the lookout for whoever was responsible.
